The HKS Fuel Pressure Regulator allows precise adjustment of fuel pressure to match upgraded injectors and modified fuel systems. When larger injectors are installed, the factory regulator may not provide sufficient pressure for proper atomization, which can affect engine performance and efficiency.

By allowing the fuel pressure to be adjusted within a wide range, the HKS regulator helps optimize fuel delivery according to injector capacity. It can also be used to increase fuel flow without replacing injectors by raising fuel pressure within the safe operating range.

Proper adjustment is important, as excessive pressure may negatively affect atomization and increase the load on the fuel pump. In some high-demand setups, an upgraded fuel pump may be required.
