The A'PEXi Power FC is one of the most iconic standalone engine management systems ever developed for Japanese performance vehicles. Designed to replace the factory ECU, it provides complete control over fuel, ignition, and engine management.

Unlike piggyback fuel controllers, the Power FC functions as a true standalone ECU, allowing precise tuning of engine parameters while retaining many factory functions, including air conditioning on supported applications. It supports advanced tuning features such as multi-point fuel and ignition mapping, boost control (application dependent), and VTEC control on compatible Honda models, giving tuners the flexibility to maximize performance safely and reliably.

Installation is designed to be as straightforward as possible, with most models offering a plug-and-play fit that connects directly to the factory wiring harness without requiring extensive modifications. Each unit includes a base calibration developed from Japanese-market specifications, allowing the engine to start and run before final tuning. For optimum performance and reliability, professional dyno tuning is strongly recommended.

Depending on the application, the Power FC is available in two versions:

- L-Jetro: Uses the factory Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.

- D-Jetro: Converts the engine to a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor system for increased tuning flexibility (requires compatible MAP and intake air temperature sensors).

For expanded functionality, the optional FC Commander or Commander Pro provides real-time monitoring, data logging, parameter adjustment, and detailed ECU tuning capabilities.
