The Nismo Competition 2193E 5W40 is a premium 100% synthetic engine oil developed exclusively for the Nissan GT-R R35 and its VR38DETT engine. Created in partnership with Motul, it was engineered through years of motorsport development, including the Tokachi 24 Hours, Nürburgring 24 Hours, Nissan GT-R NISMO RC, GT-R GT3, and Club Track Edition race programmes.

Using an advanced polyol ester base oil, the 2193E delivers exceptional low-temperature flow while maintaining a durable oil film under extreme engine loads. The formulation provides reduced friction without compromising protection, helping safeguard highly stressed components such as crankshaft bearings and turbocharger bearings during sustained high-performance driving.

Developed for engines producing up to approximately 600 PS (70 kgf·m of torque), the oil offers outstanding shear stability and maintains consistent lubrication under demanding track conditions. Its revised detergent and dispersant package reduces friction losses while minimising sludge formation commonly associated with high-output turbocharged engines.

Although optimised for motorsport, the 2193E also performs exceptionally well during everyday driving, providing smooth cold starts, stable oil pressure, and reliable protection across a wide operating temperature range.
